About Raleu
Hello!
I am Esra, the person behind Raleu illustrations. As a Landscape Architect who loves plants, dogs, and especially rabbits, I’ve always been drawn to the natural world and its well-being. My journey into creating art and stationery began during my studies, where I searched for better quality note papers, leading me to design my own notebooks. Initially inspired by my beloved rabbit Nonna, my brand has evolved with a new name and expanded offerings.
My passion for animal welfare deeply influences Raleu. After Nonna the rabbit joined in my life at the age of 23, I became sharply aware of how many brands test their products on animals like rabbits and mice. This realization spurred me to ensure that my brand promotes this ethos, this awareness to others.
Every time you consider a purchase, I urge you to turn the item over and check if it’s tested on animals. It’s a small action that can make a big difference. Through Raleu, I hope to remind us all to be more conscious of the products we choose, fostering a kinder world for our animal friends.

I choose eco-friendly materials and processes to minimize our environmental impact and ensure that our beautiful planet remains vibrant for generations to come.
Eco-Friendly Materials
I prefer /if possible to choose/ recycled, acid free paper for my prints, postcards, and notebooks, supporting the recycling industry and reducing waste. My hand-drawn illustrations and watercolor prints are brought to life using eco inkjet printers that significantly lower environmental pollution compared to traditional printing methods.
Less Plastic, More Art
In Raleu’s packaging and production, I strive to eliminate the use of plastic. Wherever possible, I opt for alternatives that are biodegradable and recyclable, ensuring that my products are not only beautiful but also kind to the earth.
