Hello, I’m Esra; the illustrator and maker behind Raleu.
Raleu is a small illustration studio based in the Netherlands, creating art prints, postcards, stationery, notebooks and playful handmade home accessories for cozy homes, thoughtful gifts and warm everyday moments.
My background is in landscape architecture, so plants, animals, colors and small details from nature have always been a big part of how I see the world. I started creating stationery during my studies, when I couldn’t find the kind of notebooks and note papers I wanted to use — so I began designing my own.
What started with paper goods slowly grew into a small illustrated world of prints, postcards, candles, matches, notebooks, gift sets and creative workshops.
Inspired by nature, animals and everyday rituals
One of the biggest inspirations behind Raleu was my rabbit, Nonna.
After Nonna came into my life, I became more aware of how many everyday products are still tested on animals, including rabbits and mice. That awareness shaped the way I think about making, buying and choosing products.
Through Raleu, I want to create pieces that feel warm, thoughtful and kind ,objects that bring joy into your home while also reminding us to be a little more conscious about the things we choose.
